Tomatoes are slowing turning red. Some have had brownish spots on end called blossom end rot. Put a couple of shakes of Bone Meal around base of tomato plants, hopefully this will have enough calcium (6%) to help stop the blossom end rot. Will also check soil pH to see if low pH is negatively effecting uptake of calcium.
Everything else is doing great. Have not had to water with all the rain early in the season but things are starting to dry out. Will probably have to set up irrigation for August.
Crops coming in currently:
Eggplant
Green Peppers
Pumpkins - didn't plant these they were surprise starts but are doing awesome. Probably have 6 pumpkins starting, one is already orange.
Cantaloupe - again didn't start these they were a surprise.
Tomatoes
Hot peppers - looking plentiful and lots of these for pickling.
Started a second crop of 1/2 Kentucky Runner green beans. These should be flowering in another 2 weeks.
